Hi! I'm looking for a hotel to stay at near Disney Springs (maybe walking distance) for one night... Dec 10th....and then for another one night Dec 16th. We will be at CBR the 11th-16th and want to stay the night before and night after our CBR stay. They can be different hotels and we will need 3 rooms. Does anyone have any suggestions where it would be between 100 to 120.00 and include free breakfast? It looks like the prices go up for that time of year and that they are already booking up. Thanks!

Unfortunately, there are no hotels within walking distance of Disney Springs that have free breakfast for all guests.

In my experience, early December is actually one of the cheapest times for the Disney Springs hotels. The website that Tommy_B posted is the marketing website for the Disney Springs Hotels. They typically run discounts for the current and following season. So, it's still too early for late fall/early winter discounts. That said, finding a discount for a single weekend night is going to be difficult...especially for three rooms.

Keep in mind that all rooms at the DoubleTree Suites are two room suites. Most rooms have two queen size beds and a queen-sized pull-out sofa in the living area. The rooms are 540-square feet with one bathroom. For comparison, rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are roughly 300-314 square feet with one bathroom. So, even if prices are higher, you may be able to get by with one fewer room.

I have stayed at the Hilton across from DS 2x and it is a beautiful hotel and really nice because you can walk so easily to the shops and restaurants. However it is a bit pricey, you'll pay daily for parking, and there is no free breakfast.

I've also stayed at the Best Western near DS, but it is getting older and no free breakfast. Even though the rates are good I would not recommend it.

If you don't mind a < 5 minute drive, I highly recommend the Quality Inn and Suites at Lake Buena Vista. Last I checked it was one of their 'Platinum' rated hotels so it is nice as they like others have to compete for WDW visitors.

  • Free Breakfast
  • Free Parking
  • Awesome Rates
  • Rooms are suites with a kitchen (double check room type, but I didn't upgrade to a suite)
  • Nice pool
  • Close to WDW

Although you would have to drive a short distance to DS, I'd recommend checking out the Extended Stay America Lake Buena Vista. The rates are normally under $100 per night, free simple breakfast, warm pool, nice rooms, no resort or parking fees.

do you know how far they are from WDW and do they have a shuttle bus?

The thing you have to watch with "free shuttles" is how often do they go, when do they start and finish and where do they actually drop you off; most only drop at DS or the TTC and then you have to figure out how to get to the other theme parks.

yes one hotel i called said they drop you off and pick you up at TTC, so that shouldn't be too bad, and their times change according to park hours, so if the park closes at 9 their last shuttle was 1030pm

Dropping you at the TTC is fine for the Magic Kingdom, but bear in mind if you wanted to go to Epcot or the Animal Kingdom, now you have to get a Disney bus to those. Just build that extra time into when you leave the hotel.

The Hilton does have a shuttle (it's like 5-10 minutes from the park): http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/fl...-vista-disney-springs-area-ORLDWHH/index.html
"Shuttle to and from Walt Disney World® Theme Parks included"

The Quality Inn and Suites also has a shuttle (like 10-15 minutes from the park): https://www.choicehotels.com/florida/orlando/quality-inn-hotels/fla10
"Free shuttle to Disney theme parks"

One note - these hotel shuttles are awesome perks, but I will admit it's not like being on property and having buses run constantly. You might have to wait 30 minutes in some cases to get the shuttle. You can inquire more details from the hotel directly.
