We have stayed at Residence Inn LBV a few times and most recently in Dec 2013. We really like it. I feel the place is very clean.
You can get a 2 bedroom suite that can sleep up to eight with two queens in each bedroom. There are 2 bedroom suites with a king and two queens. These have 2 bathrooms and the bedrooms are separated by the living room/full kitchen. There are three phones and 3 TVs. The biggest TV is in the living room. The rooms are the equivalent to a smaller apartment. The rooms are a little dated, but the TVs are new.
They have an included breakfast buffet which is wonderful. The variety is great. We eat a hearty breakfast and it takes us through our day. There is an evening reception from 5:30 pm to 7 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday which I compare to a quick service meal and it's all you can eat, as is, the breakfast. The evening reception includes free beer and wine.
The pool is outside and adequate. They have a free, bus shuttle service to Disney that leaves you off at Epcot and then you need to use Disney transportation to get to the other parks. We never used the shuttle. It was too restrictive with their times for us. You do save the $15 Disney parking fee if you use it.
I really look for sales on the website and they do have them. I look religiously for a deal. Depending on your luck these two bedroom suites will go from $125 to $175/night. You get a better price if you stay 5+ days or more. The pricing will be more expensive during peak season times. I feel the price is fair for what you get.
There is a mini grocery store in the lobby. You can buy Disney park tickets at a service booth upfront. The resort is not too far away from Downtown Disney. Getting to Animal Kingdom by car takes the longest time.
