Has anyone stayed there? How far is the walk to the main gate?

We stayed there this past May and we loved it. The pictures of our room our in my TR (link in my siggie).

We didn’t walk to the front gates from there though. It seemed too far for us. At the time we had parking on our APs, so we just exited out of the back parking lot and made a u-turn on Ball Road and went to the parking structure. We did see people walking though. Since it takes us a little less than 10 minutes to walk from the Hojo, I’m guessing it takes maybe 15 or 20 minutes to walk from the Menage?

Oh and the Menage does charge $10/day for parking.

We stayed there a couple weeks ago. DH and I are both 23 year old agile adults and the walk TO Disneyland took exactly 12 minutes (we timed it on Dh's Iphone.) It was a pleasant walk there. You have to walk over the freeway on the overpass. But there are crosswalks and sidewalks so it is not too bad.

HOWEVER, and this is a big however. We stayed at the parks ALL day. Sp the walk back to Hotel Menage was KILLER. I could hardly walk. Our feet just didn't work anymore. One of our favorite parts from the trip though was how we had to "gallop" instead of run across the crosswalk because our legs just could NOT run. The walk back took signifigantly longer than the walk there.

There was a family walking back in front of us and the Dad was carrying the son, the Mom was giving the daughter a piggie back. So take that for what it is worth! We absolutely LOVED Hotel Menage though. Favorite Hotel for Disneyland hands down.

The Menage rocks! The walk isn't bad at all, walking anywhere after a long day at Disneyland is going to suck.

It is past Howard Johnson and around the corner. For me it would be a long enough walk that is certain. It looks like a nice place to stay, I would take ART, or a cab, unless I was feeling especially adventurous that morning.

I would imagine that the morning wouldn't be bad at all, but the evening walk might be.....but you can always grab a cab, they are right out in front on your way out.

Yeah, seriously. The walk back from the Hojo was hard for me. I can't imagine going a little bit further! Ugh!

The Menage pool is also a great place to watch the fireworks! We laid on a couple of lounge chairs & had a drink. It was great!

This hotel is a lot better than it used to be. I stayed there back when it was a Holiday Inn & I swore I'd never stay there again (the toilet handle was broken, the air conditioner rattled, etc.). They must have renovated...we had no issues last time.

Seemed like a long walk to DL from there, so we either drove or shuttled.
