Help! I just booked this hotel for my daughter, who is going for 2 nights on July 9 and 10th. We went with this hotel for the price, $123, which was very comparable to the $100 we were going to pay for the Holiday Inn, with hopes of getting Extra Magic Hours. But now I'm not sure they will be able to get EMH? I just read a post that said it was only available when you booked a package deal?

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Also, has anyone stayed at this hotel? Any thoughts, opinions? They are hoping the front desk will hold their luggage the last day there while they go to the parks, will they do that?

Thanks!

I'm afraid I can't help with the EMH but I can tell you that the hotel has a left luggage room. :goodvibes

From the official site:
"Starting April 1st 2007 and through the 15th Anniversary celebration, when you book a package in one of our Disney Hotels or at Hotel l'Elysée Val d'Europe, you can enjoy extra time in Disneyland® Park on certain days of the week!"

Cost us about $100 more, although the rates are definitely higher later in July than you were able to get.

A bientot.

DD and I stayed at this hotel. It was good, clean, comfortable and a good price. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that. It is opposite the shopping centre with lots of places to eat in there - we ate at the Italian and the food was very good and reasonably priced. There is also a large Auchan so you could stock up on snacks, drinks etc.

There is a locked room where you can leave your luggage when checking in if your room is not available and also on the last day. However, depending on how you are travelling home you might find it more convenient to leave the luggage at DLP or the train station rather than go back to the hotel to collect luggage and then have to go back to the train station.

Staying there next week, not part of a package so I can report back. All the stuff seems to say that you show your hotel pass to get in for EMH, so I suppose if you have booked a package maybe you get a different hotel pass. I'm not expecting EMH, if we do it'll be a bonus.

8 days to go.
