hotel in siesta key or clearwater

Need a recomendation on a good hotel on or near the beach for these towns. also which is the better beach?

Well, being from Sarasota FL, where Siesta Key is. Would obviously make me favor Siesta. But, Siesta Key being rated as 1 of the 10 best beaches in the world is proof. At times, 5 of the best should be reason enough.

I want to live in Siesta Key. I love it. Make sure you go to Friendly's and get some icecream!

It depends upon what you're looking for. Siesta Key (and Sarasota in general) is more laid back and artsy. Clearwater is busier but is more kid-friendly. They both have beautiful white sand beaches, but Siesta Key's sand is more like baby powder. Either way you'll have a great time. Enjoy!

In Clearwater I would recommend the Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites on Sand Key.
