Hotel in Port Canaverel?

What is the best hotel to stay at in Port Canaverel the night before the cruise? We stayed at the Raddison last time, but there were no close restaurants and their shuttle didn't leave for the port until after our check in time so we ended up calling a cab. The hotel was nice enough, but not very convenient.

CIS. If the shuttle time doesn't match your PAT, you can talk to the drivers and they'll make it happen. CIS also has a comp breakfast and most places deliver to CIS.

We stayed at The Residence Inn by Marriott. They offered free breakfast and the shuttle left the hotel before 11am.
It was a nice clean hotel, we would stay there again.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express twice...free breakfast and its next to the Publix just in case you missed something. Hotel is clean and we walked accross the parkling lot to a nice sports bar with good food (can't remember the name though).

There is a shuttle service available. We didn't use the shuttle service so I can't comment on times, etc.

The three closest hotels to the port are Country Inn and Suites (CIS), Marriott Residence Inn (MRI) and the Radisson. We have stayed in all three (plus some others) and we really, really, enjoy the MRI the best. I did not like the CIS. Both the MRI and CIS have comp breakfasts. Radisson has a very nice tropical pool area.

We found the rooms, breakfast, service and staff to be the best at the MRI but everyone can interpret these things differently. MRI has full sized kitchen appliances in all their suites.

Another vote for the Residence Inn, will be there night before our November 7 Fantasy Cruise!
