Hi, I am planing a trip to new york next year for my sister 18th birthday however I am having problems finding a hotel that we sleep more than 2 people in a room. We can not get two rooms as the hotels want let anyone under 21 stay in a room on there own and we will be taking my daughter so I will be the only one of 21. Most of the hotels that sleep 4 are expensive.

We spent a couple of nights in New York this summer and we stayed at the Hotel Belleclaire. It was a room for 6 and cost £133 for one night. Nothing special but served it's purpose.

Hi

Have you looked at Hotel metro its near Empire State Building? This is where we are staying in March. Also Hotel Novotel? Metro does have a room with 2 doubles. Only prob is you will have to share a bed. Thats standard in the US anyway.

I think you'd be hard pushed to find a romm that doesn't have the standard two double beds in it. The Bentley on the upper east side has suites that sleep 4 in two seperate rooms, and the southgate tower on seventh ave also has seperate roomed suites

We tried the Metro however virgin said that there is no double room that will sleep all 3, and they won't let us book 2 rooms as two of the guest are under 21. I don't mind two double beds as dd will sleep with me and my sister will have her own bed. It seems that the hotels with 2 double beds seem to be the more expensive hotel.
TCS do the Novotel so I could try them.

Hi

We booked the Metro and superior rooms has two double beds have a look on thier website. I have the same problem booking POR Riverside as they state the rooms can only fit 4, but they can fit 5 with a roll away. :confused3

The Novotel is also a nice hotel especially if you can get a room with a view of Times Square.

Hi:)
as another alternative, we stayed near the UN building near the river on the East Side, and although it was a little way from Times Sq etc we had a lovely walk thru the town every morning...also the Tour buses stop right nearby:)

We were taking my dd for her 18th so needed 2 rooms, so we had a suite, which was absolutley great, with 2 large bedrooms (both ensuite), a kitchen and living/dining room:) It had great views across the river and we got to see all the comings and goings from the UN too:)

It was The Beekman Towers if you're interested:) :sunny:

we have booked the radiocity apts for next month

why do you not e mail or phone the hotel direct some times you get a better deal

We just got a a quote from TCS and they do the double room at the Metro, the lady who I spoke to has stayed there and really recommend it due to its location. Got a great price flying with continental which also means we can fly from Manchester with a free stop over.

we stayed at the double tree guest suites on times square..

superb location and a suite.. so bedroom and pull out double bed in the lounge..
dont know if that would work for you.

Oh and you get a warm cookie on check in.. that was the clincher for me! ;)

Me and my mum have stayed here twice. It's fantastic :woohoo: Looking to book it for our next trip in April but it's looking a bit pricey at the moment

The Hilton on Avenues of America have family suites with two double beds in the bedroom and a fold-down sofa in the lounge area. They also have a nice "kitchenette" area with a fridge and sink. We paid around $385/night during August last year, but that included access to the club level lounge. The lack of hotels offering rooms to sleep families of five is what prompted us to join the Hilton Club (timeshare).
