Hotel in Miami Airport

Has anyone stayed at the hotel in the Miami Airport pre-cruise? Pros/Cons?

We stay in a Marriott village of sorts and it has airport shuttle. We used it in February 2020, and it was very convenient. We will do it again for TA next year.

La Quinta is across the street and has a shuttle. Nothing special but the room rate isn't bad and they have free breakfast

I prefer the Hampton Inn Miami Blue Lagoon. Free shuttle, free breakfast, across the street from Starbucks and a grocery store that sells wine if you need to pick up a couple of bottles. There's a CVS close by (maybe a Walgreens), and a Cuban fast-food place that's really good.

Didn't know there was a hotel IN the Miami airport.

We stayed at the Miami airport hotel Thanksgiving weekend 2019 when our flight landed at 2 am and DH had a flight out at 6am. I think it was okay but depending on flight times before or after a cruise I would want to be closer to stuff to see and do.

The Hyatt House is really close to the airport and has a shuttle, free breakfast
It also has access to a Publix, CVS, Walgreens and food options like chipotle, Panda Express, and many other options within walking distance
