Hotel in/around Beckly W. Virginia?

Any place you like or would recommend? We want to book ahead of time as I'm not chancing being trapped in the mountains at 2am with a baby.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Beckley W. Virginia in November when we were driving down....it was very clean and quiet. I liked the interior coridors as it makes me feel a little safer. There is a Bob Evans restaurant next door and a Cracker Barrel restaurant across the street. It was at exit 44, just after you get off the I-19. There are quite a few motels at this exit. Planning ahead is a good thing. We too booked ahead and arrived at the hotel at about 6 pm and people were being turned away if they didn't have a reservation.

Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel, you're speaking DH's language. We're planning on arriving about midnight but it would be nice to start out with a big breakfast the next morning.

Another vote here for the Hampton Inn. We've stayed there many times and have never been disappointed. Having a Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans within walking distance is great too.

A few years ago, when we drove, we stayed at the Super 8. It was very new and had a complimentary continental breakfast, which was a very good one.

A few years ago, we stayed at the Country Inn and Suites. It's nice to have a one bedroom suite, after being cooped up in the car all day.


You'll many hotels in Beckley are within a mile or two of each each, immediately off the interstate.
