Starting to plan for the d23 expo and looking for some suggestions for a family hotel. There is upwards of 7 of us going no less then 5 so not sure of I should do multi rooms or multi bed rooms?I am also looking for a place close enough to so you can walk to either the expo or the parks if we want to split up?Just needs to be clean nothing fancy.I hope you can help thanks

Are these all adults or kids too? Where is the expo at? If it is at one of the on property hotels I would suggest possibly the Dessert Inn and Suites that is just across the street on Harbor blvd. They have large suites that can fit up to 10 people (if two don't mind a pull out bed). It is basically two connected rooms that have a little living space in between. It is nothing fancy, but it is good for large groups.

One kid one kid the expo is at the convention center thanks for the advice

Okay I now retract my advice :) Walking to the convention center from the Desert Inn will be too far. Maybe try the Anabella. It's nice- I don't think they have huge rooms like that so you'd probably have to just get two rooms, but you would be able to walk to the parks and the convention center from there. To get to the parks you will have to cut through the Grand Californian and go out onto Downtown Disney then to the entrance, but it's not a bad walk.

Good luck!

How about the Desert Palms? It's right on the corner of Harbor & Katella. It has some suites, but can be kinda pricey. Worth looking into though.
