Hi! My husband will be staying at the Saint Giles Hotel in Bloomsbury, London in a couple of weeks. He is staying there for about a week on business, but wishes to remain in London for 2-3 days afterwards to sightsee. That hotel is booked for additional days, however.
I was hoping that you all would please give me a couple of recommendations for a nice place in that area. He will not have a car. He would like a private bath, a decent room, and a friendly environment. He hopes to spend no more than $200 per night. (He hopes to spend less, but he is cheap. ;) )
I thank you all in advance!

This isn't going to be in that area, but I spent $88.00 US dollars at a bed and breakfast a couple of weeks ago (we stayed there in September also). I'd expect there aren't any openings, they are sooooo popular now - but they make a wonderful breakfast, send their guests out with a bottle of water and snacks each day, etc. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Re..._Tree_House_Bed_Breakfast-London_England.html

The Holiday Inn Kensington Forum is a decent hotel, we've stayed there as well. But not anymore with James and Janices lovely B&B! The Holiday Inn Bloomsbury doesn't have such good reviews.

Thank you so much for the help, Denise!
DH said the Bay Tree House was farther out than he wanted to go, but it did look very nice. I found him a room at the Crowne Plaza on Bridge Street, and I think it looks very nice. I got a great deal through Hotwire.
Thank you again!

That is great! I always try to recommend the Baytree, it's something special (just so hard to get now!)

I'm sure the Crowne Plaza will be lovely! :)
