Hotel help for after cruise

We're going on the 7 day cruise in October. DH, myself, DD 14, DD12, DD6. We want to do Magic Kingdom, Universal, and Animal Kingdom after the cruise. (basically stay 3 extra days in Orlando) I haven't booked the hotel yet. I'm overwhelmed at the choices!! What's everyone's favorite place to stay and why? Need hotel references!! AND, who gives the best deals, a travel agent or hotel directly?
*we don't do Disney every year. I don't know when we'll all 5 get back again, so I want it to be fun!

U could try this , it is pretty painless and most transactions go very well just honest people Wanting to rent out there points
Would look in to rent Dvc points, That way you could stay At A dvc Resort...... Like Boardwalk , old Key West....Or the Beach club
We like the Epcot Resort Area Very nice.....

Just go over to the Dvc/rent trade board ... U could probably get away with getting a Studio... or maybe 1 bedroom....
I know that these resorts go for About $250.00 and up per night.... With the renting of points it would be much less.. Check it out.....
Oh yea and See u on the Cruise .....

Yes, I've been to the Cruise Meets board for the 10/2/04 cruise! It sounds like so many people all ready know each other from previous cruises. That's neat! I haven't read all the posts. We feel so "behind" already and I thought we were getting a head start by planning this far out! Lol.
