crowds insane today. can we get into Harry Potter an hour early tomorrow?
Park attendant didn't know; know the disboards will. Tia.

As far as I am aware, the answer is yes if you are staying at one of the three Universal hotels. Even if tomorrow is your check-out day.

Just popping back in to say that, yes, Rahel is right. The park opened at 8am for onsite hotel guests and vacation package guests. Only the Harry Potter area. We got up at 7, and were in line before 8 (which sucked, but Harry Potter on any other day was like a rave that just needed a mosh pit). We were still pretty much stampeded on our way to Harry Potter land. This was on Tuesday, 1/4. A Tuesday in January. At 8am. Crazy. We rode FJ and then waited for the front row of fire. That's all we had time for before the gen pub was allowed in at 9am. Beware of swimming upstream when trying to leave Harry Potter at 9am .......

How long was your wait for FJ before the park opened up to the public?

We went straight to FJ upon entering. We had maybe a 20 minute wait (advertised 15 minutes). Held up in part by people stopping to take pictures of everything in the queue. By the time we got off the ride, we turned around thinking about a reride, and the advertised wait was up to 30 minutes. Not horrible.
