Hotel guest ride pass?

Can anyone explain to me the Universal ride pass hotel guests get? Is it only for certain hours? Only for certain rides? Or does everything have two separate lines, one for the resort guests, the other for everyone else?

Most rides have an express line that is separate from the regular line. A few rides have no express. All you do is show your room key at the express line and in you go. The entrances are marked and if you ahve a question, just ask someone who's working there.

Thanks! Is it available all day or just at certain hours? At both IOA and the other park?

It's available on most rides at both parks. Also at shows I think, but I'm not sure if it's all shows since we didn't do many.

Yes, it is available all day. Sometimes when the crowds are low they don't use the express line.
