It comes out in california adventure and is at grand Californian? If so is it open for early magic hour at the disneyland park, or how would we get in if it is not open?

The GCH has an entrance into DCA for hotel guests (in the morning) and pretty much anyone later in the day. If you are staying at one of the onsite hotels (DLH, GCH, PPI) you can use the entrance to access DCA's EMH. You cannot use it access DL's EMH/MM. For that, you will have to use the main entrance to DL.

I believe that you are asking about the hotel entrance to Disney's California Adventure (DCA) for Grand Californian Hotel guests? Since DCA and Disneyland (DL) have different Magic Hour days, this gate will be open for magic hour when DCA has magic hour. But if you are planning on going to DL's magic hour, I don’t think this gate will be open as DCA has not opened yet. You will probably have to go through the entrance in Downtown Disney and go through the main gates of DL.
