I'm still dithering over booking an hotel room for February. We'd like to stay in a Disney Hotel but DD(13) and DS(16) sharing a double bed is not an option they'd accept.

I've looked at Hotels with bunk beds, but at 5'10" and 5'5" I'm not sure if that would be acceptable either as there seems to be be a weight limit on these beds.

So I've found that the Explorers hotel have twin beds for the children but I'm not reading very good reviews of this hotel and the shuttle service.

Which hotel would anyone reccommend for bigger kids?

Maby give the girls another option.
Share a bed or stay at home with the grandparents?

See how the reaction is.

I've a boy(16) and a girl(13) so I understand their dislike of sharing.

And a familyroom ?
you can call Disney this moment to ask if thats possible.

How about staying at the Marriot D'ile de France.

They have twin room or a sofabed in the living area if they want separate rooms (as well as the master bedroom for you)Not sure of your dates but it looks like it is about €167 at this time of year. You'd have to buy passes separate though as it is not an affiliated hotel.

While the shuttle service can get busy at park closing the Explorer represents a more favourable cost option than either a suite or two rooms.

Others on the board who have stayed here have enjoyed the hotel :)

The weight restriction on the upper bunk bed is around 11 stone, I'm pretty sure they're standard bed length.
Although I've never seen them advertised we were allocated a room with bunk beds at the NPB last visit, which pleased my 2 DS's no end, they thought they were sharing. :)
The NPB is quite grown up in it's theming, very large, has one of the best swimming pools and is within easy walking distance of the village and parks, if your DS's want a little freedom.

Thanks for all your help. I have more to think about now. If I can get them into the bunk beds - I have no idea how heavy DS is, though I'm certain DD is well below the limit - I think this would be the best option. Anyway, I'm off to do more research.

Just thought I'd add that I'm 15 stone, 22 and the top bunk in Cheyenne held me for 4 nights :-)

I'd recommend Cheyenne for teens as i found enough to do. There's an outdoor play area for kids, most of the brits are out at night for a drink and socialising with (met up with a bunch of kids my age at the bar and had a laugh). There's tons of room to explore too as there's a path by the Cheyenne which runs to the Disney Village and all the other hotels. I spent one morning at 5am sitting by Lake Disney looking at the ducks and the hot air balloon.

Only time I've ever enjoyed Disneyland Paris was this time as I've always stayed outside the park and hated travelling.
