Hotel for one night near Universal

Hello! We are planning a Universal trip for late April and will be staying 4 nights at a Universal resort. However, we will arrive one night before our reservation starts and the rates for that one night don't qualify for the promo we have on the Universal resort. We will not be arriving at MCO until late on a Saturday night and are looking for a clean, nice hotel in a safe feeling neighborhood to crash at that night before heading to our Universal resort in the morning. It would be nice if it either had a free and reliable airport shuttle from the airport or was an easy Uber ride from the airport. Does not need to be luxurious, but newer, clean, safe, and in a good neighborhood would be my top priorities. Thank you!

You can book one of the chain hotels just N of the airport. Some of the hotels airport shuttles don't run 24/7.

You could book one of the chain hotels near Universal. Hyatt, Doubletree, Holiday Inn etc

Flights and luggage can get delayed. Taxi or Uber fares could offset lower hotel rates
