Hotel for night before Port Canaveral cruise?

We were thinking of renting a car to get to Port Canaveral, as well. Can you please tell me where you return it? Is there a rental car location walking distance from the port?

No rental car places within walking distance. But most of them have shuttles to the port after you drop off.

Hertz is right between (in the parking lot) Country Inn & Suites and Marriott Residence Inn. Here is a discount code for Hertz 2034198 CDP

There is no car rental return within walking distance of the port but they all have shuttles that will drop you off at the port after you return your car. They will also pick up after your cruise and bring you to their rental location to pick up a car if you want to another one-way rental.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn this past Sept. and found it to be pleasant and comfortable. They have a shuttle and free breakfast. We did the option where you receive a 40% parking discount for port canaveral so we could walk off the boat and be on our way without having to wait for a shuttle. to get back to our car. We found this to be a very good option. i do know when we checked out the shuttle lines were long at the hotel, do not know if this is the norm at every hotel.
