Asking for any opinions on hotels for a Girl Scout Troop. My co-leader and I are bringing our troop of 10 year olds to Disney for the weekend. We are only going to the MK for one day, but are spending two nights in a hotel. This is what I prefer:

Inside corridors
Mini fridge/microwave
breakfast included (hot breakfast would be nice)
pool
under $100 a night

We would be getting two rooms, connecting. My first choice is Buena Vista Suites, as I've stayed there several times before and I love that hotel. My mind is blanking and I'm having a difficult time coming up with other hotels in the area with those features I mentioned. Any ideas? Thanks!

Fairfield Inn has a couple of options in the Lake Buena Vista area. I think they would meet all your criteria.

Holiday Inn Express and Hampton are also good choices.

How many girls and adults in the two rooms?

Didn't even think about Holiday Inn Express! Thanks! I will check pricing out on all those suggested. We will have one adult in each room. Two girls in one room and three girls in the other room. One more parent may be coming, so we will just put her in the room with the three people.

How about Druey Inn and Suites. It number one on tripadvisor that offer free hot breakfast and free kids friendly evening meal that kids may enjoy between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

I would like to recommend Westgate Lake Resorts. We stay here with our cheerleaders and the girls love all being in one large area together. The floorplans are on their website. I usually get the military rate, but the prices are not bad at all. It would be so much easier for the two adults to be in one space with all five girls. http://www.wglakes.com/index.htm Scroll down to the bottom and under accommodations you can select the various room types to see the rooms.

We have stayed at the nick hotel on several occassions and once got a boy scout rate of $110 a night for their standard suite. The Nick hotel has gone downhill since but people still love it. I only mention this in case they still offer the girl scout/boy scout promotional rates.
