Hotel Discounts?

Do the Disney hotels ever do any fall discounts like the ones at WDW? We have a package booked for September at the Grand and I'm hoping for a room discount. Is this crazy, or do they ever come up?

Did anyone else notice the large decrease in discounts offered in just 3 years????

In 2011, they offered "9" different discounts, and in 2013 only "3"!!! I guess we're already doing better in 2014 with "4" offered so far!

Really hoping and crossing fingers that there will be some type(every little bit helps!) of discount offered for Fall/Winter!!!

One more question, so if I pay for my trip in advance and then they offer a discount, can they do it retroactively? Or should I wait to pay if off?

We don't ever book Packages---just "Room Only", and I know they will adjust the rate for those, no problem! Not sure about packages---maybe someone else will chime in!

Got 10% at Grand using AAA discount. Booked directly through Disney reservations. Just ask if it is available for your dates and they can add it.

The 10% AAA deal is good at all three hotels, but the number of such discounts the hotels will give is limited.

Since Carsland went in, there have been fewer and fewer discounts at the resort hotels.
