Hotel Discounts for AP

Does anyone know how many rooms you can book with the AP discount? We're traveling with extended family, so I'm wondering if I can apply my AP discount to a 2nd room or if we'd have to have 2 APs.

Recently it seems to be 2 rooms per AP. You should call the hotel directly to ask.

In the 10 years I have been staying at the Universal resorts, I don't think I have ever been asked to show the AP. Maybe once, a long time ago.
