When you lovely people have stuff delivered to the hotel for you? What things are you having delivered? And who are you usually ordering it through?

I usually just ship things to myself that I don't want to pack in my luggage! Either they trigger a search or they're just too awkward to pack and will be consumed during the visit, so there's no need to bring them home. *LOL*

Many people use gardengrocer.com or wegoshop.com for grocery purchases/delivery. Others may have flowers, gift baskets, mobility devices (i.e., ECVs), etc. delivered.

The answers should be interesting! :)

I did place an order with GardenGrocer for bottled water, some snack/breakfast items (indiv. cereal bowls, poptarts, yogurt, bananas) for our mornings that we don't have anything scheduled, and of course, my morning Diet coke and hubby's dr. pepper (just a 6 pack each) and 2 lunchables for each child for various snacks (when they say they are hungry at 7:00 because dinner was at 4:30 and we don't want to go back out. Also, I wanted to save our snack credits for ice cream or other treats instead of using it for "breakfast" (unless a visit to Mainstreet Bakery is on the list for the day!)

I also ordered a "Welcome to Disneyworld" basket to be at the front desk when we check in as a surprise for my kids (8.5, 5, and 3.5) of things that we would buy anyway (autograph books, a small toy each, and a pressed penny book plus a coloring book/activity set to save for the plane ride home). I ordered this from www.peggysweetsandmore.com and it seemed reasonable in price, plus Peggy was very easy to work with. I highly recommend her if you are thinking about something like this.

We will be getting to the resort about 4:00, and not planning a park visit that day. The only thing we may do is go to Downtown Disney to go to Goofy's candy co., but we may wait til later in the week.

FYI, we are staying at POR, so we will at least have a fridge.

Good question! :thumbsup2 I'm thinking of doing a few groceries... I'd love to hear responses.

What about for diapers & wipes? those take up SOOO much room in the suitcase!

I clicked on the link for Peggys sweets and it doesn't take me to the site?

we ordered 2 amazing baskets from memories by betsy. i gave her a price range and told her what each kid was like, and the outcome was great! The kids were so excited. She puts a cute tag on it that says something like thanks for visiting, love mickey. we also ordered from garden grocer. anythingyou could need is on their website, and if you don't see it, you can ask in comments. we always have hot chocolate on christmas morning. on their site, they only have the kind with no marshmallows listed. well, i asked and it was in the bags for us. the front desk kept the milk and lunchmeat cold and everything else was just delived to our room by bell services once we got back to the room from our first night in the parks. we are already planning on using their services again for our July trip.

The only thing I'm really concerned about is water. I see they'll deliver water, but I'd hate to waste their time and $$$ on a delivery charge just for 2 cases of water. We're gonna be on the dining plan and I am going to take full advantage of it as much as I possibly can....

But at moderates and deluxes' they have fridges right - no extra charge? And as All Stars, they charge for one? Is this right?
