Hi,
Well, I've got my Membership number, yeah!!! I'm now ready to book our first DVC vacation for this Decebmer!
Has anyone else every done a vacation at a hotel, then the cruise then home?
We want a car for the WDW part (at the GF) and then we thought we'd drop off the National car at the WDW location where you can drop off National rentals. Then we thought we'd take the DCL buses from GF to the cruise and then from the cruise to the airport. That would be $46 x 3. That's plus our rental car from December 1 thru December 6 (the day of the cruise) so that will run about $180??
I guess what I'm asking is: is this the most economical way to get to and from the ship? What have you done? What other options are there?
I'm so very excited I can't stand it! I can't wait to call MS back with our decision. We can't decide on which category level. At first we were going to do the cheapest, cat. 11 but she said 10 was larger. We'll be 2 adults and our DD's 5 and 2 years. Then she said a window one would be cat 8 & 9 and 6 would have a verandah.
We have 119 points from 2000 and then 170 at December 2001 and we can even borrow from 2002 if we want/need to. She said this is the time to splurge because one DD is 2 and we have those extra points.
Opinions/advice please??
