We need to do a weekend trip next month to go to a friend's retirement. The hotels in that small community are a bit pricier than elsewhere; I'm guessing it's due to the limited competition. My wife had a coupon for Country Inn, but it expires before our trip. Anybody know of any coupons for either a Country Inn or a Best Western that is good in October?

I have an Orlando Entertainment book...on page G3....Best Western is listed...the add says up to 20% off. I've never used any of these in the book for hotels...so I'm not sure about it.
The ad says..."How to save" 1. call the hotel chain of your choice or book on line at www.entertainment.com/hotelchains
2. provide agent with special ID number
3. make your reservation
the Best Western number is (800) 441-1114
the MVP# is 00162370

If Country Inn is in here...I'm not seeing it. I will say that as many times as we've traveled by car....when we call the motel - we usually ask about any discounts....AAA, ARP, Senior Citizen....and have always been able to stay with some kind of a discount. So you could just try that. We usually stay at Comfort Suites - and always found them to be just what we needed.
Hope this has helped....have a good time! barb

I would try using Priceline or Hotwire. If that doesn't work out, there is always Roomsaver.com. Usually, you cannot make reservations with Roomsaver rates, however, I have heard of people caslling the hotels directly and getting reservations with the Roomsaver rates.

Good luck!
