Hi all

Off tomorrow for a few days - staying at Hotel Cheyenne for the first time. Just a couple of quick questions that I should have asked ages ago really.

1. Does the hotel provide towels in the bathrooms?

2. Because there is no in room room safe, does the hotel offer any other kind of safety deposit system?

Any advice gratefully received

Thank you :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Yes there are towels provided and I believe there is a a safety deposit box at reception that you can use.
Have a lovely time. :goodvibes

I see Jill has answered all your questions.
Just wanted to say have a lovely time :goodvibes

We just returned from a 4-day stay on May 12th. About the towels: there are towels, but just one per person per day. And they are bath size; there are no washcloths or hand towels. Not a big deal, but I'm used to having towels of different sizes, so I did miss 'em! ;)

Do any of the hotels have in room safes? I don't trust deposti boxes, but maybe that's becasue i dont 100% understand how they work - I just worry my stuff will get mixed up with other guest's-is there a charge for the service?

We have previously used the boxes at Port Orleans WDW and would imagine these would work the same. You get a box just for yourselves and you are given a key and the reception hold a key and you need both keys to open it. There didn't used to be a charge for the service but imagine Disney will have seen the error in their ways and will be charging for it now.

We have only stayed at the New York and I know they have in room safes as does the Disneyland hotel. These are considered in WDW terms the deluxe hotels though. I'm not sure about the others.

Thank you! Great help. :-)

What i tend to do in hotel rooms without safes is put my stuff in my suitcase and lock it. As I always feel that it's unlikely my whole case would get taken.

It's worked for a few trips so far....

The hotel New York also has deposit boxes, we used them on the last day of our stay to leave our passports etc. so as not to drag them around the parks. You can ask at the luggage desk and they will find somone to get you a key and open it up for you
It works the way a deposit box does in a bank ( You must have seen it in a film)

There are safety deposit boxes at the reception of The Cheyenne.

We used them in Oct 07 and Feb 08 and had no problems at all.

They are just the slim ones that are really just for documents or any small objects of value.

I found the staff to be very helpful when I asked about them as I don't speak French and I was a bit bothered whether you have to pay for the box, or if you could get your things out whenever you wanted. The one thing to bear in mind though, the staff made it very clear that if you lose your key, it was quite a bit of money to pay to get the box opened ( Can't remember now, it was either 50euros or 100euros )
