Hotel Checkin time and Univ Express

I plan on staying 3 nights at Royal Pacific this summer and use Universal Express for 3 days as well. I'd like to check in early (6 or 7am) and then head to US or IOA. Can I take advantage of the "Express" at the parks on the morning of my checkin date? How do the hotels handle this? Will they give me a temporary room key to use at the park that day until our room is ready later that day? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

A short answer to your questions, YES.

You can check in, get a key and if there are no ready rooms at the time they will hold your luggage for you. You use your key for the UE access and come back when the room is ready. You can use the key for the full day of your first day and the last day as well.
