Kind of a dumb question, I know, but we generally stay in a trailer. We are staying at the Carousel Inn. We are coming from another hotel early in the morning and are going to hopefully be allowed to park there. What time do hotels generally let you check-in? We'd like to come back for a nap mid-day if possible.

Most hotels do not guarantee check in until 3 or 4 PM - obviously there are always times when guest rooms are ready well before this as sometimes your room was not even used the day prior.

It can't hurt to request an early check in with your reservation - hotels do try to accomodate guests - some guests advise of a late arrival so why on earth set aside a room for them that could otherwise be given to people they know are showing up in the morning.

However, nothing can likely be guaranteed but they will take your bags and you are always free to use the hotel facilities on day of check in even before your room is ready.

In general check in times are around 3 pm. Your email confirmation or the Carousel Inn webpage should have their check in time. It never hurts to call and check (or stop by and check) to see if your room is ready early.

Yes, they may or may not be able to accommodate you. If you can't check in early you can park for 3 hours at DTD for free. You could get validated parking for 2 more hours from some of the establishments there. Otherwise parking is $2 for each 20 minutes after the first 3 hours up to $30 max. Or just park at Disney for $15.
