Hi all

Thanks so much to all for your helpful suggestion of flights a couple of weeks back. :worship:

After much procrastination, debating, deliberating and bargain watching! I bit the bullet!

Edinburgh to MCO via Charles de Gaulle on way out and via JFK on way back. Flying with Delta/Air France but booked with Flight Centre.

Total for 2A and a 10year old £1869. Around £300 savings than booking directly with Delta for same flights.

Glasgow is 'very busy' for my dates (1st Oct to 21st Oct-had to cut a day off at end as DH apparently needs to sleep before going back to work on the Monday:confused3) so GLA to MCO much more expensive. EDI is only 15 miles form us so better option :woohoo:

Was hopping for a bargain on Fri with BMIfriday (last Fri of month) deals but not sure if Orlando would be on offer and was starting to sweat about paying more than £2000 for flights :scared1:

Now it feels real...only 249 days to go :cool1:

I am so pleased for you Nikki! I remember you from when you introduced yourself to me on my TR :goodvibes (I'm good with names, not with faces, but did remember your playdoh avatar).

It makes such a difference when you know exactly when you are leaving. Marking it on calendars and counting days and weeks is what makes it feel real. I hope you are going to be chatting on here a lot more - now that you have a lot to talk about .... ;)

Why? I usually come back on the Sunday and back to work on the Monday. It's part of the post-holiday fun, feeling hung over for a week. The only thing that stops me looking dead is my tan and I am pretty much good for nothing, but I turn up at work .... :rotfl:

I'm so pleased for you. :dance3:
