Hotel availability along I-10 (gulf coast)

I cant find the post I started a few days ago (apologies if I said something out of bounds..???)

Has anyone that has made the Gulf Coast drive to Mouse-ville along I-10 got any comments about the availabiility of motel/hotels en route.

We are leaving tomorrow afternoon (Dec-6)

You'll find most things open until you hit New Orleans, and that will pretty much continue until after Biloxi, MS. Not everything is closed, but what's open will probably be full with people who can't live in their homes. FEMA extended hotel stays for homeowners with extensive damage.

We went in November and stayed at a place right where I-10 and I-75 meet. You'll have been on the road for 5 more hours than we were once you get to that spot, though.

I don't think you'll have any problems once you get out of Mississippi.
