Hotel amenities- club level

Hi all.

I have a question about club level amenities. I know when we check into the GCV or DLH, we can use all of the hotel perks; pool etc without the room being ready. Is the same true for club level amenities? We have a night at the PPH and would love to be able to visit the lounge when we check in.

I think it depends on when you show up. If 3PM is check-in and you show up at 8AM, I think maybe not, but if you show up at noon, maybe?

At the DLH we have been able to use the club as soon as we check in not when our room is ready, in fact, sometimes we have just waited in there until the room was ready (earliest we have done is 7:30). On departure day it is dependent, but I think the general rule is at check out time your done with lounge privileges.

What time have you gotten there?

A lot of hotels (not just Disney) I've been able to access the concierge/club level, but I've never arrived in the very early morning, usually late morning/early afternoon.

PS okay that is weird..... the time wasn't there when I asked the question, but appeared in my answer...

This would be fabulous! We check into the GCV the following day so it won't be a total bummer to lose access but I wonder how they do that as the keys still work for the pools until they close that night. Free DVC parking is valid too until midnight on the day of checkout.

Is there a separate key for the lounge?

The earliest was 7:30 am (November 2015). If we stay in the area the night before we check in early enough for EE. Most visits are between 10:00 am and noon. They always give you the club card as soon as you check in (it's your room key) and then they text you your room number when your room is done. We always run up and at least grab a drink on our way to the park.

Thanks! Are the clubs open all day? I have only stayed club level once at the GCH and it was amazing! I recall breakfast time and evening for cocktails but was never there during midday.

No, your room key gives you access to the lounge. Usually on your departure day you're key deactivates at check out time. Now, last time our kids had a late flight and they gave them special permission to use the lounge until they left for their flight at 5:00 pm, but I don't think they do that very often.

Yes. PPH Club is open from 630am-8pm.

Yes you will have it as soon as you check in.

FWIW we checked into GCH at 6:30am last trip and had no issues accessing the club level either. You should be totally fine!
