Okay I was watching the news about COVID hanging around in the air and if you are in a closed space you should open a door or window. How do they filter the A/c in the hotels?? Are we sharing air with the neighbor next door I guess?? Just a random thought lol

I believe Caribbean Beach and the 2 Port Orleans resorts have individual room units like you’d find in a Hampton Inn. Not sure about other resorts.

i thought disney wont be holding resorts at max capacity, so you probably won't have someone living directly next to you if you're there anytime soon. whatever their filter system is, it's probably sanitary.

lord I hope not...I’m just thinking of the connecting door issue

I have seen YouTube videos of people staying at resorts right now saying that the rooms next to them are not being filled, so Disney is using social distancing even in room assignments. I honestly feel pretty safe staying in a hotel right now.

and I saw similar videos where there was someone in the rooms on the other side of the connecting door. Dev had it in 2 rooms at 2 different resorts - Bay Lake and Ak

Oh bummer! Here I was thinking they weren't doing that!!! I think it was Dev's Saratoga video that he said there weren't people around him, I was hoping it translated to the rest!

yeah I was pretty bummed. He had loud neighbors in one hotel and quieter ones in the other but definitely people on the other side of the connecting door.

I believe all the values and moderates have individual AC units in each room. The deluxe and DVC resorts don’t have obvious individual units, so they could be shared. I am not concerned about staying in a value or moderate as far as AC is concerned.

Each room has it's own individual heating / cooling system. However the rest of the resort areas, hallways, and other shared indoor spaces are on larger "shared" systems.

Is that for all resorts including deluxe?

The hotels rooms are really my big concern.
