Hotel advice

Hi, I hope to be going to California next month for work experience. At the end of it I hope to have a couple of days in LA and a trip to DL. I was hoping you could recommend a cheap hotel/motel near by.

Right across the street: Camelot, Best Western Park Place Inn, Tropicana, Carousel. Still close: Howard Johnson and Candy Cane Inn.
