Hotdog Help

DH and I are planning on going to the first home game of the Milwaukee Bucks Saturday night. We love basketball and go to as many games as we can. Now eating has always been a big part of this and we love the hot dogs there. We debated eating before going, etc. But as this is a LIFESTYLE change for us that we plan on sticking with forever we decided to just try to allow for the calories and stay on plan and enjoy eating at the stadium. I have been searching the internet and can't seem to find the calories for our favorite things so I am hoping maybe a fellow WISHer knows the answer. Any idea how many calories are in a regular stadium hot dog and soft pretzel (no cheese)? Thanks in advance for any help. You guys are such a wealth of information and keep me very motivated. I'm so glad to have WISH to turn to with my questions!

I've had stadium dogs. NO WAY I'd classify it as a miniature hot dog.

I'm thinking this is low. Does fitday say anything about bigger dogs?

This is the nutritional info for a hot dog at Costco/Sam's Club (a pretty big dog, definitely closer to the stadium version):

Hot Dog w/works (560 cal/32 g fat/3 g fiber)

I'm sure you can make it fit in your new lifestyle. Be sure to exercise that day!

Thanks for all of your help! These hot dogs are definitely bigger than minature hot dogs but they are plain not the works so I guess they would be somewhere between those two numbers. I am going to estimate them at 300 just to be on the safe side and say NO to the pretzel for this time. Thanks again - WISHers are the best!

aaaargh!!!

99 carbs in a pretzel????? If I even looked at one of those, I would gain 10 pounds immediately!!!

But, I would get a hot dog and just not eat the bun!!
