Hi all,

We will be in WDW at the end of the month with our 10-month old daughter. We typically make her formula bottles ahead of time, filling the bottles with 1/2 the amount of water required and keeping the 1/2 filled bottles cool during the day (insulated carrier). Then we have a thermos filled with hot water to top off a bottle right before we give it to our daughter. Here's my question: do the CS facilities at WDW have hot water available that they would be able to give us when we needed to make a bottle? I'd rather we didn't have to lug around the thermos all day if we don't have to.

Thanks for your help!

Why not use the baby care stations in each park! They have hot water, a micro, fridge, changing areas, family restroom, high chairs, and so much more! When our kiddies were babies we always utilized these rooms and it was so great. For us it was easier to pre fill the bottles with powder formula, and we carried a bottle of water to use to mix it when needed. The bottles were room temp and we got our kids use to drinking it that way before our trip. Also occasionally we would warm up a bottle at the baby centers.
From deb's site(allearsnet.com):

What are the baby stations?

Baby stations are cast member staffed areas in each of the four major parks that are set up for helping you to care for your child. They have changing areas, high chairs for feeding, breast feeding rooms, adult restroom, hot water, sinks for washing, and a room with toys and videos for your older children. These amenities are free for guest of the parks.
In addition, the stations can supply, for a small charge, emergency items that you may have forgotten to take to the park that day. Things such as, formula, diapers, Disney baby clothes, children's medicines, and other small necessities to help you get through the day. Use these stations often to get away from the hustle and bustle of the parks and to get off your feet.

These are not day care facilities so there is no place for your child to nap, but they are a great place to get your baby out of the sun for a few minutes. You will love these stations once you use them.

Where are these Baby Stations?

Magic Kingdom -- at the end of Main Street, behind the Crystal Palace Restaurant on you way to Adventureland. It is tucked away in a small courtyard near the first aid station.
Epcot -- on the backside of the Odyssey Restaurant on the walkway from Test Track to Mexico. This is a very neat station as many times the workers from the Mexican Pavilion come over to relieve the cast members. It is great to talk to them about their travels and country while you are taking a break.

MGM-Studios -- just inside the entrance near guest services on the left as you enter.

Animal Kingdom -- near the Creature Comforts gift shop in the Safari Village on the left side of The Tree of Life.

Oh, and to answer your question I'm not too sure you can get hot water at the CS places.

You can get hot water at the CS places but you will have to wait the line so be prepared for that. Also, while I would use the water to heat a bottle I am not sure I would use the hot water itself to make a bottle. Personally, I don't care for fl water and neither do my kids, ymmv.

Like a pp said you can use the baby care centers but again they may not always be convenient. If your in another area of the park it can be a long walk esp in Epcot or AK.

Have you considered using powder and mixing as you need to? My dd's liked the formula room temp anyway so this was ideal for us. I would bring a couple baby bottles filled with water and just add the powder when dd was thirsty. When I was down to the last bottle I would grab a bottle of water from a stand in anticipation of the next feeding so it would warm to room temp.

I, too, used room temp water. I fill the bottles with water and use a pre-measured powder container to carry the powder in, like this one: http://www.greatbabyproducts.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=MUNC-80101&Click=862226 . I got mine at Target, though.

If you fill your bottles with water in the AM, you could always set in on top of the stroller an hour or so before you will need it. Most days the FL sun will warm it just fine by the time you need it. Then just add formula and go.
