Hot tubs

Is there one at the quiet pool? Or just at the main pool? I put in a request for the 2500 loop, but wondering if I should request a loop near the main pool instead. Dh loves to relax in the evenings after a long day in the parks. Lol. Also... When do the pools close up for the day? We are a family that likes night swims!

At the quiet pool, main pool or both?

I only swam once when we were just there, so I didn't really pay attention to any posted hours, but my daughter seems to think the pool closed at 11. Not sure if this meant you couldn't swim, or that's just when the lifeguards went off duty. I think it's probably more the latter because I remember on a previous trip swimming at Pop Century at night with no lifeguard and no one had a problem with it - actually the pool was full of night swimmers.

Thanks for this info! With a travel party full of people with back problems, I can see the hot tubs getting used on an almost nightly basis on our visit next month!

We stayed at the fort a few years ago at Christmas and enjoyed the hottub at the meadow pool every night. It seemed to be open even after 11. In fact the life guards were training in the main pool while we were there.

No. We went the week after Pop Warner/week before School was out.

We tent camp and that area (2200?) was deserted. Just a quick walk from our site to the pool. Most nights we were rather late getting over there. The only folks around were the lifeguards and a couple that we had run into at HIlton Head the year before! It was rather surprising!

Great! Was it very crowded?

1) Sometimes, sometimes not.
2) Just depends.
3) If busy, they are usually overrun by the teens.
4) Since they are open 24-hrs, you could always wait until later.
