Hot Tub at VWL Pool Open Seasonally ?

Another poster who is curtrently visiting VWL reported that the hot tub at the "Hidden Springs Pool" was not in operation.

Out of 5 trips in the last 2 years, the "Hot Tub" was open twice!
Soon after the VWL opened they had major issues with both the hot tub and the quiet pool filter system clogging up with pine needles. Looks like they have not as yet come up with a reliable solutuion. It is annoying seeing as we pay dues to have this amenity and do not get to consistantly enjoy it when we go home!

Anyone have more info on this issue?

I am sorry - but on each of my trips it has been working fine.

have you considered using the hot and cold tubs at WL instead? in the summer I think that cold tub would be better than the hot tub anyway.

It's never seemed "seasonal" to us. We have seen it closed for a day or two for some maintenance, but I consider that to be a good thing.

I'm there right now. Yesterday (Saturday) it was having some problems. It was open (at least when I was at the pool), but the jets didn't work. They were fixed today. I've been here 8 times or so, since it opened and that's the first time I've seen a problem.

I had posted in that other thread too. What better season to have a HOT tub than in January. We were there Jan 1 -7 and it was closed every day of our trip. We did make use of the other tubs but the one at the quiet pool is much closer to the villas if that's all your interested in at the end of the day. Granted, this was our first trip to VWL, but it is our home resort and it would be nice if everything was working ... we paid for it after all.
