Hot stone massages

Has anyone here had one? Did you like it better than the traditional swedish/ deep tissue massage? I want to go get one tomorrow but want to try something new. I just want to know if you've had the 2, which do you perfer?

Hey WD2 . I've had them and they're wonderful. I think better than a plain deep tissue massage. The warm stones really help loosen your muscles and then you get a nice massage. Plus I'm always cold and it was really nice to feel warm. Have fun.

I have had them too! LOVE them! I dont like deep tissue massage though. try it! you will love it!

I just had the hot stone massage in December. I had it done at The Bath House at Mandalay Bay in Vegas. It was wonderful. I have had traditional/swedish massage and I liked the hot stone much better. Wish I was getting one tomorrow, sounds fantastic!

Yes, I had one, with lots of oils. It was WONDERFUL!!! The 45 minutes went by so fast. I haven't had a swedish one so I can't compare the two. I'd love another Stone one with oils!

FYI... It is very relaxing, but I found it not as quiet as a swedish because sometimes they will "cling" the stones together. If I had a choice, I would choose a hot stone over a swedish massage any day.
