Does the Magic Circus provide kettle and tea/coffee etc in each of its rooms? The travel republic website says it does, and we certainly had this facility at the Explorers last year, but can someone confirm that the Magic Circus provide these too (will save on the packing ;))

Also, can anyone give me an idea of what toiletries are provided in the bathrooms?

Thanks peeps,

Ooh Elaine somehow I've missed that you've actually booked for your DD's birthday - I haven't been on much lately. If you recall I ummed and ahhed about going at this time for my DDs' birthdays as DD1's is 16 days before DD2's!

In the end we went for Center Parcs (not quite the same but looking forward to a relaxing time!!) but I do have a twinge of regret at not booking DLRP!!

I hope you have a fab time - it's really not long now - your DD will just love being there around her birthday. :goodvibes

Sorry, can't help with the hotel as I've never stayed there.

The Magic Circus use to be the HI as far as im aware. They did last year when it was the HI and im sure they would not change this. The usual tea, coffee, sugar was supplied back in Sep

I only booked up last week Patsy, thats when my ticker went on :goodvibes. DD is 8 next week, but I don't do DLRP with queues ;), so we're waiting until 10th May to go.
You guys will have a lovely time at Center Parcs I'm sure, enjoy your birthday girls' trip too .

Hi

We have just come back from Magic Circus. :) There was a kettle and 2 mugs provided in the room, and an inital supply of tea, coffee and powdered milk. These were not replenished while we were there, but I did take a supply of tea bags, UHT milk (yuk) and sachets of hot chocolate. I think you can pay to have the stocks refilled each day but I think it's expensive.

There was liquid hand soap in the bathroom on the wall by the sink, and also shower cream on the wall by the bath - L'occitane I think was the make, plus tissues and hairdryer too. Plenty of large towels etc.

We stayed there when it was the Holiday Inn and it hasn't changed apart from the name - not that I noticed anyway.

Sometimes we were 3rd drop off on pink bus, sometimes last  - not sure if the bus drivers follow any plan.

Can't think of anything else - had a great time :cheer2: - came back exhausted but always do!

Oh yes - made baguettes up at breakfast for lunch (never had the nerve to do it before but nobody seemed to notice or care!). Breakfast was constantly replenished and I thought was a good selection (I'm sure others will disagree :rolleyes1).

Ask if you've any more questions - have a fantastic disney time :wizard:

Thanks very much for that Notredame, just the kind of info I was after :thumbsup2.

Just had another thought - we took swim stuff with us and 1 afternoon my husband took the children swimming. He didn't take the swim towels I had taken with us as it said in the hotel folder that towels at the pool are provided. Obviously being a man ;) he went swimming first before checking, and when he came out there was nobody on duty in changing rooms and no towels :scared1:. He had to come out on wet shorts and run along corridors looking for maids so be warned :)

Elaine - thanks for the well wishes for our break. Sounds like you are really getting your 'planning head' on so I'm sure you'll have a fab time. Can't wait to read your TRs - no pressure though :rotfl2:

We got back yesterday. Wanted to add that I didn't take shampoo as we had stayed there before and I was sure the shower gel was also shampoo. :sad2: My memory must be slipping because it didn't feel very nice at all as shampoo and I'm not sure it did my hair a lot of good, so I would recommend taking your own.

When we used the pool we took our towels from our room - which was as well because again nobody was on duty there so I couldn't have used their pool towels.

We discovered this time that there are ice machines next to the lifts and also vending machines selling snacks and bottled water and soft drinks. Not cheap, of course but good in an 'I need chocolate and I need it now' emergency. :teeth:

Great stuff, thanks. Did you have a nice room? It got a bit noisy in the evenings in the room corridors at the Explorers last year, I'm hoping the Magic Circus won't be the same
