Hot Dogs Cause Genetic Mutations

I couldn't believe this when I read it! If true to the extent they say it is...Why are we just finding out about it now?? :confused3

Well, it doesn't really say that hot dogs cause genetic mutations. It says they may contain DNA-mutating compounds that may increase a person's risk for colon cancer, doesn't it?

Although, come to think of it, my girls always DID act a little strange after their Beenie Weenies...

My feeling is, there are probably a million things I eat, do, or expose myself to that could be cancer risks. I'm going to take sensible precautions and not worry about the mutations...

The title of the story is "Hot dogs may cause genetic mutations"

If they really want to know, they don't need to feed hot dogs to mice, just test the people who particpate in hot dog eating contests every year.
