So the hubster and I decided to add on a few days to our trip at the end of the month. We are using points borrowed from next year for our stay and didn;t want to use any more for our add-on days. So we priced things out using our AP discount. At first I planned on adding days to our stay at SSR, but after asking here, I found we'd have to do the whole check-out/check-in when going from points to cash, so I started pondering the idea of switching resorts. After thinking about it, I thought I'd check out what was available and how much it would cost for a studio at BCV with our AP discount. Plus DD wants to visit "the beach" again (Stormalong Bay) so I became set on moving to a new resort for part of our stay.

After looking online and not seeing any studios available, I decided to call hoping that dealign with a human would reveal something. No such luck. No studios were available, no regular rooms at the Beach Club either, however there was a room at the Yacht Club. Perfect, YC still gets to use SB, it's not that different. Okay, we booked. Of ocurse the price for the room was more than a studio, but we decided to go ahead and book.

Meanwhile, my husband has learned my "try, try, again" philosphy and asked if it was possible for me to call back in later days and see if something was available. I told him that I would.

Well, I kept putting it off, and then today when he came home from work, he brought up calling Disney back to see if a studio was available. I grabbed my iPad and looked online and saw the possibility of a studio, but with the Disney site acting wonky lately, I decided to go ahead and call.

WOOT! A studio at BCV was available and I GOT IT! Plus changing the ressie lowered our cost by $150. Oh, yeah!!!!

We'll be at BCV at the end of the month too! Maybe I'll see you there!

You know it took me a while to realize that "Hubster" wasn't being used by lots of people. I just kept reading different posts by Simba20. :rotfl:

Lots of people do use it, I picked it up yeeeeearrrrs ago from somewhere else. In the early days of blogging, I had friends who would refer to the husbands as either "husband" or by a first initial, to remain anonymous. I saw "hubster" on a blog one day and took it over. My husband thinks it's funny. At home he is called "dear" or by his first name....I save his full name for his mother.

You can also recognize my posts by the fact that too many times, when typing a word with an --ing ending, I will transpose the n and the g typing those words as ign...like walkign. I try to go back and proof but my eyes fail me. If I am typing on my iPad (like now) autocorrect makes everything worse.
