Hot Dog Hall of Fame at Universal Citywalk.... Tasteless boiled hot dogs
On soggy buns.

Wow, we ate twice 3 weeks ago and it was pretty good.

The hotdogs are vienna beef and they steam the buns too. It is a little pricy but not bad.

We will try again this weekend.

Doesn't sound promising,I read some not so positive reviews on the Bread Box,the new sandwich place.I was all excited about these places opening up but all I heard on the sandwich place was that it was expensive sandwiches that look like what you make at home and now the Hot Dog hall of fame,also expensive and not great,I was hoping for some good lower priced options like Earl of Sandwich at DTD,but if it's not good I'm not spending $10 on a sandwich or a hot dog,I rather spend it someplace with better food.

Tried both Hot Dog HOF and Bread Box, and I have to say, I really liked Bread Box! HDHoF wasn't impressive at all- not a good flavored hot dog. Bread Box's sandwiches aren't that big, but I found them right-sized for me! I'm not a huge eater and their grilled cheese with bacon was just enough for me, and I thought it was quite tasty. We also had a side of the chips (not too salty, but I liked that) and the potato salad (meh, nothing special). A bit pricy also, you definitely get a better portion at Earl of Sandwich. For a simple lunch though, I give it a thumbs up!

Man I am glad post a review of this place. The kids and mom want try it. I am sorry I will not eat a boiled hot dog. This place is off the list. Back to drawing board on places to eat.

So far we've eaten at Margaritaville (awesome awesome awesome!), HDHoF (not awesome), Mythos (great!).

We orderd Giordanos pizza and it is yummy! Deep dish + salad. Very reasonable $$ wise too.

You should try the new Vivo's in Citywalk. It's been getting rave reviews.

we will be trying the hot dog hall of fame in sept. the best hot dogs in chicago are actually NOT in chicago, but river Grove. Gene's and Jude's. but there was a little hot dog cart at 6 corners on the nw side (irving park, Milwaulee, and cicero) and one on Foster ave. on the way to the bus stop from foster AVe. beach.

steamed dogs, steamed poppy seed buns, mustard, relish, sport peppers, onions.. yum!!!

I'll let you know,. we chicaoans are kinda snobs with our hot dogs, beef sandwiches, and deep dish pizza!

ps why can you NOT get a decent Gyros at either disney OR Universal????

What they did to a Farmer John's hot dog was a crime.

And why can't they have foot long buns with a foot long hot dog?

not a fan of hot dogs in general. the few times I've tried them (as in it's all that's available due to location/timing) have found them to be inedible even the $10 ones they try to pass off as gourmet in MGM.

Giordano's pizza was very good, even better with a restaurant.com deal! Didn't get the deep dish (again, not a fan as to my taste it's not a pizza lol regional preferences & all) but rest of their food very tastybut not 'fast food', took a long time for the prep as many things made to order.
