Hi we are going to dlrp in November this year we usually go summer season but i really want to see the Christmas season. I remember reading on here that somewhere in the parks they do lovely hot chocolate i was wondering if anybody can recommend the best place and roughly how much they were.
I know this is a little early to be thinking about stuff like this but we are toooooooo excited and can't wait to go, so me and my mum planning early lol. (my dh thinks im mad :rotfl:)

Thanks

We had hot chocolate from the coffee machines at breakfast in the Santa Fe hotel and it was lovely! Creamy and really thick, we all ended up having it most mornings with our breakfast. I would imagine it is the same all over the resort.

I think it's the same in each outlet/kiosk. But if you go to the one in the arcade behind Main Street, they'll put whipped cream on top for you :thumbsup2

I think they were 2.50euro, i use get mine in the baker shop??? Is that what its called:confused3 the coffee shop on main street anyway. I rem on my recepit from belle notte i got a free one which i used here aswell its a smaller size than the reg one but it kept me warm while waiting for the parade:thumbsup2

Thanks for your replies, im soooo excited to try one especially with the cream mmmmm. Im thinking too that this would keep me warm waiting for the parade (im usually eating an ice cream as i usually go summer months, not that the weather will stop me having one lol)
The prices are not that bad too as they are about that price here if you go to a coffee shop.
i hope that the Cheyenne have the hot chocolates at breakfast time too.
Thanks again

They all sell the same Nesquick hot chocolate in all cafes etc & its the same served in the hotels:thumbsup2

I don't know if they do this every year but in December when we went, the receipt for our CS lunches had a voucher printed on it for free hot chocolate between certain times in the afternoon. Could save a few euros. :goodvibes

they were doing this last week when i was there

I also did this - got the special offer for free hot drink - it was a small size but great for sipping while waiting for the parade to start, plus it was free! I also received a voucher in gift shops when I made a souvenir purchase.

Last week we paid € 2.00 per hot chocolate and got the free voucher for use after 3pm

If you buy three drinks at the same time you only get one receipt and therefore one free voucher

If you queue up and buy separately, you get one voucher per drink

Thanks all

Free hot chocolate i'm there lol. my mum does not drink tea or coffee so she is happy they do nice hot chocolate.
Im glad they do the hot chocolate at breakfast too at the Cheyenne.

Thanks again

Thanks Happy Tappy i forgot about starbucks now in Disney Village as i have not been since it has been open.

Starbucks opened on our last day last june so didnt get a chance to go but i really cant wait to have decent coffee every morning on our nxt trip, the french couldnt make a decent cup of coffee if they tried:lmao:

when we went last time we went to Mcdonalds in Disney village for breakfast and i had the worst cup of coffee i had ever tasted. I've been there before but never remembered it tasting like that lol

Should I bring marshmallows with me or I could find them onsite?

mmmm DLP hot chocolate is amazing! I think I had 4 in one day on our MNSSHP day... it was very cold in my defence!

Look out for discarded receipts with the offer on the counter when you collect your CS meals - got a freebie that way! (not that I'm cheap!)
