Hot and what not for the August meet!

Well, I have a dvd that I got on clearance for a dollar.. think maybe if I open it...that it'll help me tone up??? I mean afterall it is says it will be a "fun way of strength training-enhanced calorie buring....and full body tonigh for a sleep, firm, sexy physique!!!
 
Why can't you come over to the Beach Club and do the character breakfast with us? I'm ditching the boys for the morning & Kim and I are heading over from WL.

I was thinking lime green, dark green, and black tie die t-shirts with the words "cut out" of a black Mickey head. But that is my 80-90's innerchild coming out to play.

That I can do!! :banana: I couldn't do the scrapbooking event because DH refuses to cancel AKL (I begged).

Tie Die...:scared: :scared: I try not to go near die...it brings back bad memories of my attempt during childhood (I had green arms for a week) I can do the graphics once everyone decides on them from this board.


Count me in on this group. There's an extra 100lbs or so that do need to go.
 
I won't be at the meet, and I can't do the weight-loss thing right now (although after August, I'll need to!), but I will cheer you all on!! :cheer2: Also, I need to get motivated to walk everyday, just for my health. . .and for SIOLB!! Y'all can be my accountability for that! :thumbsup2
 
Jen I will call Grand Gatherings tomorrow and add you to the list. I'm having everyone pay me in advance so I can just have 1 bill, unless you want your own bill. It's $25 per adult and that will cover Gratuity. Do you want to come by yourself or bring your family with you?

You don't have to do the event to join us for breakfast. In fact breakfast isn't part of the event just a bunch of us getting together.

Walking is great. I was still working when pregnant with number one. I walked every day at lunch with a co-worker. That helped me keep accountable. I did up until my 9 month. And then, I don't know, it always felt like my leg was falling out of its socket. I guess the ligaments were stretching?

I live on a road that does not encourage walking. No shoulder, no sidewalks and teenagers who don't know what 35 is. But I do have my 500 foot drive way. That's a 1000 feet down and back. How many times for a mile?

note to self, walking from here to the Yacht Club 1238.75 miles.

139 days until Breakfast

= 8.9 miles per day. I don't think that will happen at first. 1 lap is 1.6 miles that's a little over 5 laps per day. Hmmm, I think I can work up to that. Or do a few laps in the morning and a few on the treadmill at night.

1 mile is 5280 feet.
 
Cool. I can do five times easy. Once down & back to the bus am, once down & back kindergarten pickup, once down & back bus pm, once down & back for mail and then two more just because. Only draw back will be rainy days. Don't think I can talk the boys into waiting for the bus in the rain. :rotfl2:

I used to walk the driveway a few times before the bus came, of course now I drive them so I hit the track at school. 5 laps is a mile there.

Ok, I probably won't be at the meet (but I can dream). BUT I do need to lose 60 pds that I gained in the last year (can you say stress bunny). I am doing weight watchers - but I sure could use your support too.

Like DH just made cornbread and the smell is wafting through the house and begging me to come downstairs and find the butter:rotfl:

Well, I sure am glad I read this thread about everyone wanting to shed some poundage or inches. I'll understand if y'all don't want to go over
to Beaches and Cream for me to treat us to a "kitchen sink."

But if we walk to Beaches and Cream and back to the crop tables,
