Host Hula is the greatest ever and apology

OK. I felt this was very important to post quickly. If some of you dont remember, at the last pin trading event I had to vent, and its HERE if you dont know what I am talking about.

In it I never mentioned the hosts name but of course duh, we all knew who it was. So first I would like to apologize to that host (fin I am sorry). The reason I apologize is because I never read the pictures on the wall, and she was just following the rules of the trade event, and for that matter just trying to do her job. I sincerely apologize I had no idea that post might actually be seen by anyone at vmk, so in case this post is seen , I vented and would not have if I thought it would have left my little world of friends here on the dis board.

OK now that is out of the way, I would like to thank Host Hula. I just left the yeti trading event and during the trade. She gave me two pins. 1 pin for me and i think maybe 1 for my daughter LOL. She said Hula sees all! LOL so watch out everyone! Hula is amongst us everyone and I think she knows when we are sleeping and knows when we're awake!

Now on to the next major topic! TRADING!!! I GOT AN EVEREST 3/5 pin for trade!!! WOOT WOOT! (just kidding Hula! LOL I thank you and my daughter does too )

I have a confession to make... I went through Host Hula's line 4 times tonight.

First I got a pin for my main account. Then I got a pin for my DD on her account (She's at her grandma's house tonight). Then I went on my one mule account and got another (which I'm hoping to trade for a crown which I will end up giving away).

It was great. It's hard to get in the line but when you do you're at 50 in the queue instead of 195. AND, I didn't have any disconnects. All three trades were flawless. So fortunate was I that I guess I got greedy and went through again on my main account to get one more pin for trading. I thought the rule was you couldn't trade twice at one time, not twice in one event. This was only my second host trading event so it truly was a misunderstanding on my part and not an intentional effort to subvert the system.

So anyway, Hula opens the trade and I say, "Hello"

"Have we traded already?"

"Yes, is it not ok to through the line again?"

"Only once per event, you can trade again tomorrow. Sorry"

I apologized for my error and she couldn't have been more gracious to me.

So in summary, I really liked the host event setup tonight and put me in the Host Hula fan club. My mule has seen his last trading event and I'll be seeing Phinny tomorrow to get that other pin the legal way

LOL I would trade her some blue beta to beg for forgiveness but i hear its all worthless now LOL maybe i will ask her to boot me for payback instead of a trade LOL then again last time i saw her i did dc mysteriously... hmm... was it a dc? or revenge of the host? maybe she will give me an infeno pin because i am so lava? tune in tomorrow to find out!

host hulas room was set up differently it had pictures that said trade a pin of equal value or a quest pin.

and because fin was always nice to me all the other times i have ever come across her I felt bad that maybe these posts are making their way back to staff and that 1 incident may have reflected poorly on her performance. When the fact is we dont usually post our good experiences with vmk we tend to post the bad ones LOL. I would not want 1 incident to reflect the opinions in my job so I did not want to be responsible for the same. It is the truth that Host_Phinny has always treated me and everyone in the rooms I see kindly.

So cheers to host Phinny and host Hula for a great weekend event. I like the new queue system, i see some have been having problems but I have had great experiences with

btw I snuck in to see Host Phinny this mornings event as another character LOL too chicken to use my own account LOL and she was gracious as she had always been.

Wow that was such a great thing for Hula to do. I love going her games. She is always nice and tries to keep peace with everyone.
