Horse Carriage Ride?

We are taking my DD to WDW for her 9th birthday and she just asked me if she could ride on the horse carriages that go up and down main street. I know I have seen people on them, but I never thought how they got to ride. Does anyone know what I need to do, so she can ride on one for her birthday?

If they are running when you are in MK just get on and ride. You can wait in the area near the flag pole and get on. I believe they usually run in the morning. The time we rode we had to get off near the castle and let others ride back to the front.

The carriages can be riden by anyone. If I remember correctly, you just wait at one end of main street or the other and get on. It isn't super popular and it is very slow, so not many people ride.

They horse drawn trollies (as well as the the horseless carriages and fire engine) take turns giving one way trips either up or down Main St. So you just wait at one end or the other and hop on as one becomes available.
btw..I have to tell you that I've seen you post before and your buff colored dog looks so much like my dog!!! Mine is a maltepoo.

Thanks everyone for your answers! She is so excited, she already decided that we should take it back from the castle when our legs our tired! I think we will catch it early on!

What kind of dog do you have? My buff colored dog is now pre-maturely gray (2.5 years old). He ate a one pound chocolate bar and landed up in the ER. They pumped his stomach with charcoal and he is now a dull shade of grey. I keep this picture to remind me what he looked like and what an idiot he is!
