The show is definitely something I always watch. I'd have to say my favorite "Mark James" is (and this is the best way I can describe him to the APH who might regularly watch too) the one who makes all the hilarious faces. Or to be more clear, the one who talks about how "they fed the kid a huge block of cheese and then a bag of prunes". Also, I really enjoy the one who often doubles as Beetlejuice too.

I do have to say I also thoroughly enjoy it when women are on stage, as it a rare experience and always changes the dialogue a little bit, as well as, gives variety how it's acted and the little improvisations are more unique.

Also, something I noticed while trying to find more information about the show and history, I found out there is a real Mark James Ross who is a make up artist. Which I thought was interesting. I thought for a moment it could have been an inspiration for the names (Mark James and Alex Ross), but he did not do his first project on IMDB until 2007. Just a coincidence.

Love the show and probably hit it once a day while visiting....the rest of my family did it a couple of times, but hasn't sat for it in years.

Unfortunately the last 3 times we saw it, they picked REALLY bad people from the audience, which just ruined the whole thing. One didn't speak English and wasn't very interested in participating or even following the activities.

Just at Universal last week and saw the Horror makeup show. It was a highlight of our trip. Lots of fun, bawdy humor. We always see this show while at Universal!

Love the Horror Make Up Show. There was one Mark James that I really loved. He was so funny and over the top. We went twice over our trip because he was so funny.
The last time we went there was a woman in that role so I was disappointed but turned out she was great!
It is a don't miss experience for me!

Is this appropiate for 10 year olds? They love six flags fright fest. Going next week and hoping to see this!!

I saw the show on my trip in October 2016 and they chose an older woman from Miami as the guest. This woman was incredible; her comedic timing was so good I swear she was a plant.

It should be fine, if they already have gone to an event like that. The only other issue would be the adult jokes, but besides the standard and occasional improving, it doesn't get too risque so it should be fine.

We had the chees and prunes Mark for our show. He had a female up there from Chili who didn't speak much English but she was very game and his translations to here were hilarious. I was a tad worried for my slightly scaredy cat son, but he was laughing the entire time. This is such a cute and funny show.
