Here's a thread for all the horrible mommy's out there. You know those of us who couldn't or OMG wouldn't breast feed and fed our children that stuff referred to as rat poison/crap etc.
I'll be first yup I'm horrible I HAD to bottle feed and whats worse you ask? Well I let my kiddos eat pop tarts, lunchables, cookies, candy, even have soda with dinner on the weekends!!!! They have TV's dvd players, vcrs, wii, ps2, and xbox360 all in their bedrooms. Even more I let them play outside in the yard without supervision while I Dis :scared1: . I used disposible diapers and disposible bottles!!!! Dare I say all of my kids are healty, well adjusted, well mannered, and even underweight!!!!

Anyone else care to admit anything?

Count me in as a future "horrible" mom! I was raised the same way you're raising yours and I'm a healthy, sucessful 23 year old. You have nothing to be ashamed of. And- get this- I'm CHOOSING not to breast feed. Someone call child protection services!

GUILTY! I did feed breastmilk (but I used a pump) and supplemented with formula mixed with (GASP) tapwater! I even mixed formula with tapwater in Disney World which according to people on these boards is up there with the most undrinkable water in the USA! Here's the worst thing--night before last, my husband gave 2yo DS 10 nilla wafers at supper time (10!) so of course he ate those instead of his supper. At least he drank milk with them.

I'll send CPS over when they're done here could be a while though.

I've let my kids walk 2 blocks to school ALONE {gasp} since about the 3rd week of kindergarten!

If it's any consolation, my kids (ages 16 and 8) have never eaten Jello or Twinkies! :scared1:

We were at a family gathering in July. Someone brought a jello salad. She asked my son if he wanted to try some. She told him what it was and he just looked at her. I told her that he has never had jello before. She was absolutly shocked. It's not that I won't allow it, it's just that I was never a big fan of jello so I never made it for them. Same thing with the Twinkies. I never cared for them, so I never bought them.

It sounds like you are having a bad day. I hope it gets better. :goodvibes

Get this, I formula fed all 3 of my kids, and my sister breastfed her 2 and mine were and are healthier than hers. My children watched more tv and played more video games over the summer than they should have. They went outside for a little bit but mostly they stayed in the house. They eat junk food, sometimes they even skip breakfast. But they are good kids and I love them.

Nope I'm having a great day all my kids are at school (one with a teacher I haven't even met yet!) it's quiet here and I'm having a fabulous day. Thanks anyway!! My kids haven't had twinkies either I don't like 'em so I don't buy 'em.

Don't you worry, Children's Protective Services are coming after ME!!

This morning we were running late and I let my 7 yr old DD eat a Tastycake Chocolate Chip bar for breakfast! Hey, can't be worse than a donut! Bet the teacher is loving me right now! Usually she eats toast and fruit so it is okay this time, right?

Also my 19 month old son was yelling in the car when we paid at the toll booth. Get this, he saw us give the guy money and he starts yelling "I chicken!" He thought it was a drive thru!
BAd mommy I must be!

Had no desire to breastfeed and they both went to daycare at 6 weeks old while I worked. Somehow they survived.

I'm so bad, that I am letting my DD17 skip school today and fly to Ohio for the weekend so she can go to an Ohio State football game with my mom!! We are counting it as a college visit!!

Same here when I have kids. I read women online saying "Oh, I would never feed such and such to my kids like my mom gave to me!" I always think, why not? Did it kill you? Gosh, I can't wait to give my kids peanut butter and honey sandwiches. I LIVED off of those for years.

Better send a whole squad over here! I only have DS, 12, but boy have I been screwing up these past 12 years!! Not only did I find even the idea of breastfeeding repulsive, but I happily used disposable diapers and bottle liners. They could have named a landfill after me for all I cared, there was no way I was going to struggle with cloth diapers. My son has always, since birth, SLEPT IN HIS OWN BED. :scared1:

I encourage video game playing. (As long as there is balance.) Once, we had ice cream sandwiches for breakfast on vacation. Heck, we even watch South Park together.

Miracle of all miracles, he is a ridiculously healthy (seriously, I should bottle it), well-adjusted, polite, funny, all-honors-classes kid.

For the record, I am an educated, professional mom, about to turn 42, from a happy, healthy, middle-class family. I'm also a single parent, since DS was almost 2. And I would rather watch Cartoon Network than CNN any day of the week. :thumbsup2

So where do I pick up my Official Horrible Mommy badge?? :rolleyes1

Yum! My fave was peanut butter, chocolate chips, and marshmallow fluff.

my kids had kraft dinner last night with no veggies. :scared1:

I got up at 4 yesterday and I was tired. besides DH wasnt here so I didnt feel like actually cooking anything.

You can add my name to the roster if youre keeping track.

My girls left to walk to school today 3rd and 4th grade, but as you know Karissa has some issues and I let them go alone anyway. Its 2 blocks away.

The list is long.

After I told MIL about my "diaper incident" this AM. She tells me this Horrible Mommy story(She has 6 kids)

One day she was going food shopping (with 6 kids!!!:scared: ) and piling all the kids in to the custom van. As she's backing out of the driveway, she realizes one is missing.

He was on a swing in the backyard. He never even noticed. :rotfl:
I told her she's the original "Home Alone".

Thank godness the Child Protective Service People are going to be too occupied with you guys to realize that I consider swimming in the pool bathtime for my kids:happytv: Does someone mean to tell me that hostess cupcakes and coffee is not an acceptable breakfast for a 3 year old? Thank godness he was drinking the coffee from his baby bottle or I might feel guilty :rotfl2:
