Horrible Fast Pass+ Experience

I had friends there over Thanksgiving and they had a horrible time with it, but were given paper FPs to use on any rides since it didn't work and dinner at Chef Mickey's for their inconvenience. Why do you think there is such a discrepancy with how the issue was resolved? There experience was bad, but it wasn't as bad as some I have read. They stayed at CR so maybe because they are deluxe guests or maybe luck?

Dinner at CM....that was nice.

I think it's just luck and a bit of pixie dust and it depends on who you are talking with.
