Hopping to late nights at MK

So with the hour changes we have a couple days where we are doing an evening at DHS and Epcot when they close at 8 and 9 respectively and MK is open to midnight. I think in both instance we could probably make it to MK by 10.

Do people think the last two hours would be worth the hop?

We don't have kids, will be using Disney transportation (although I could probably be talked into an Uber or two) and are taking midday breaks.

Thoughts?

We would do it, and often have in years past (lately it hasn't been open late enough.) Those late nights in MK are some of my favorites.

Absolutely! I love late night MK. Crowds thin a bit, it cools off a bit, and there's just something 'different' about it.

If the park from which you are exiting is still open (or has closed within the last 90 minutes,)
and the park to which you are going is still open, there will be Disney buses to take you there.

Thank you for this answer! I was about to ask what if fantasmic starts at 8:30 but the park closes at 8, would buses still be available? But if they are still there for 90 minutes after closing it should be fine.

That's correct!
BTW, if F! starts 30 min. after DHS "closing time," they will also run the exit buses that much later, too.

No guest is ever left stranded at a WDW park.

We did this one night last year in March when MK was open until 2 am. We didn't even realize the late closing time until that day. I think they changed it last minute so it's worth it to look the day of throughout the day to see if they extend the hours even more. It was amazing to be there until 2 am.
