Hopping to Epcot

We have APs, staying at Pop Century last full week of March. We were hoping to hop to Epcot several evenings. Last I knew there was a phone number you called to see if hopping was available. Is that still the way to do it? Also, does availability change through the evening, or once the "bucket" of tickets for the day have been reserved, does that cut off hopping for the rest of the day?

To date, park hopping has always been allowed as hopping capacity has never been reached.

I'm in the same boat, going in the last week of March/early April. Leaving Easter Sunday. Really hoping to hop to Epcot or MK most nights....
